Basque Language Newspaper We have been asked by the Banco de Vizcaya (a commercial banking concern in the Spanish province of Vizcaya) to announce the availability of their periodical Boletín del Banco de Vizcaya. This is a publication which is sent free of charge to all interested persons, although it is intended primarily for the herders in the American West. The newspaper contains items of interest concerning regional and village life in the Basque Country, sporting events, and letters from herders. The majority of articles are in Basque although there are occasional features in English or Spanish. The production of the Boletín is quite professional and includes many photographs. There is no charge whatsoever. Anyone interested in receiving this publication should send their name to the Program Coordinator. |
