All officers of the Club must be of Basque origin, although a non-Basque may be a member. Membership at the present nears the 200 mark. This organization is composed of county sheepmen, herders, cattlemen, farmers, ranchers, gardeners, truckers, bakers, car salesmen, firemen, dentists, doctors, oilmen, hair stylists, hotel owners, lawyers, a judge and honorary members (old timers). The main event of the year is scheduled for June 6, 1970 the Annual Basque Club Bar-B-Q (lamb) at the Dante Hall west of the town. (Public is invited).
