Course Announcement Elementary Spoken Basque 150 will be offered during the fall semester at the Reno Campus. The course may be audited or taken for 3 University credits. It will be taught by Professor Jon Bilbao. The class will meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:30 until 9:00 p.m. It is being offered at night to allow off-campus persons to participate. If you are interested, you may contact the Department of Foreign Languages on the Reno Campus for further information. If there is sufficient interest in the fall, the course will be continued in the spring semester. A Book of the Basques by Rodney Gallop The demand for Rodney Gallop’s A Book of the Basques, the first publication in the Basque Book Series of the University of Nevada Press, was much greater than we had anticipated. The entire first edition of two thousand copies sold out within two months. A new edition has been published and the several hundred additional standing orders will be filled by the end of June. We thank those of you who have been waiting for your patience. We would also encourage anyone interested in ordering copies to tear out the accompanying order blank and return it, along with your check, to the University of Nevada Press.
