Anglo American Basque Studies Newsletter

The Basque Studies Program publishes the Anglo American Basque Studies Newsletter which is distributed gratis to interested persons. The newsletter is currently sent to over 400 scholars worldwide. It is published in English and contains detailed information of developments in the field of Basque Studies. This includes current bibliography, conferences, grants and scholarships, journal contents, and a forum to debate issues in Basque Studies. We are now offering copies of Anglo-American Basque Studies: Essays in Honor of Jon Bilbao (Reno: Desert Research Institute, 1977) at half price. Elderhostel

The University of Nevada-Reno is conducting a week-long course on Basque culture August 19-23, sponsored by the Elderhostel organization. The course is designed for senior citizens to take non-credit classes in a residential setting and study with regular university faculty. A similar course is planned for September also.
