1992 University Studies in the Basque Country The University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) will offer a wide variety of programs and sites in 1992. It is now accepting applications for its spring semester and summer programs. Programs located in or near the Basque Country are listed below. Spring San Sebastián Program Subjects: Intensive Basque and Spanish language, history, anthropology, teacher education, art history, political science, Basque and Spanish literature, economics, Basque folk dance, Basque witchcraft, and Basque cuisine. Dates: January 6 - May 20, 1992 Field Trips: Madrid, Basque Country Spring Pau, France Program Subjects: Intensive French language, French and Basque culture/history, literature, cuisine, political science, and art history. Dates: January 6 - April 17, 1992 Field Trips: Paris, Basque Country Summer Saint Jean-de-Luz Program Subjects: Intensive French language, Basque language, French and Basque culture/history, and literature. Dates: June 25 - August 10, 1992 Field Trips: Paris, Basque Country Summer San Sebastián Program Subjects: Intensive Spanish language, Basque language, Spanish and Basque culture/history, literature, and political science. Dates: June 25 - August 10, 1992 Field Trips: Madrid, Basque Country The USAC also organizes programs in Chile and an International Business and Economics Program in Italy.
