Basque Linguistics
From 1992 on, LINCOM EUROPA will publish a new book series on Basque
linguistics, representing the results of current research in the field.
Articles should be submitted in English, Spanish or French and
contain a perspective of a more general value, so that Basque
Linguistics will be of interest for Basquologists as well as for
linguists of other disciplines such as typologists, phonologists,
linguists interested in general statements on genetic relationship
between languages, and the like.
Articles should be no shorter than ten pages and no longer than
forty pages, submitted on computer diskettes using MS-DOS. All articles
should be accompanied by a summary between 150-200 words, which could
be translated into Basque to be added at the end of the article.
LINCOM EUROPA was founded as an alternative linguistic publishing
company, functioning as an interface between linguists and the
commercial act of selling, distributing and promoting their products.
It is the main interest of LINCOM EUROPA to offer additional
possibilities of publishing articles and books on linguistic topics
with fair conditions for both sides, and also to allow new ideas to be
