Eusebio Osa Unamuno was born on March 27, 1936, in Bergara, and spent his lifetime promoting and working for the Basque language. His intelligence was surpassed only by the warmth of his heart. He died of cancer on February 22, 1993 in Gasteiz / Vitoria. He will be missed by many. Goian bego, Euxebio. BSP on CNN Eusko Ikaskuntza’s tribute to the Basque Studies Program and William A. Douglass were covered by the Cable News Network and broadcast on Sunday, March 28, 1993 as part of its “World Report” news program. We hope to obtain a copy of the program for our archives.
