Call for Papers
Basques in the American West
Conference
The Basque Studies Program is hosting a Conference on
Basques in the American West at the University of Nevada,
Reno, April 9-11, 1997. Scholars who wish to present a paper
at the conference should submit a one-page proposal, along
with a curriculum vita, no later than November 15, 1996,
to:

Scholars will be notified in December 1996 regarding
the status of their proposals. Conference schedules will be
available in January 1997.
Registration fee is $50 for presenters, $75 for all
others. If you wish to attend but do not plan to submit a
proposal, please write the above address for
information.
