Consortium for the Study of Basque
Women Goes On-line
The Consortium for the Study of Basque Women (CSBW)
was born of a desire to communicate with other scholars who
are pursuing research related to Basque women in some way.
Because Basque Studies and Women’s Studies are both
interdisciplinary fields, a search for investigative
endeavors aimed at women in Basque culture can lead the
seeker to literature, history, anthropology, law, political
science, linguistics -- virtually to any and all
disciplines. The CSBW is an opportunity for researchers in
these areas to alert one another to their projects and
facilitate the investigative process by providing a means of
cross-disciplinary communications.
We invite you to participate in the Consortium by
subscribing to a new listserv for those with research
interests concerning Basque women. Users may subscribe by
sending e-mail to “Majordomo@unr.edu”. The e-mail
message should contain the single line: subscribe
