Call for Papers
Proposals should be made to the Editorial Board containing the following information:
- Content of the proposal:
- Subject, title, and sub-areas or subject lines included in the proposal.
Justification for interest in the volume, its cross-sectional and pluri-disciplinary approach.
Tentative list of invited authors, with their affiliations. All of the university community is guaranteed consideration and encouraged to participate through this Call for Papers.
- Editors:
- Preferably each volume will have two editors who are active members of the UPV/EHU. They will also preferably belong to different knowledge areas, research backgrounds, and/or university centers toward the end of promoting cross-sectionality.
The editors should have a developed and recognized research experience in their respective discipline. As an indicator, the merits must have been recognized of at least one research project presented to the National Evaluating Committee for Research Activity (Comisión Nacional Evaluadora de la Actividad Investigadora) or equivalent recognition of the merits of a research project.
Once a proposal has been accepted, the editors will follow the recommendations for the editing of the volume from the Editorial Board, as well as the style and length guidelines for the collection.
Las propuestas se presentarán a la dirección del consejo editorial aportando la siguiente información:
- Sobre el contenido de la propuesta:
Tema, título y subáreas o líneas temáticas que recoge la propuesta.
Justificación del interés del número, de su carácter transversal y pluridiciplinar.
Relación no exhaustiva de posibles autores invitados, aportando su afiliación. No obstante, la comunidad universitaria tendrá garantizada su participación a través del correspondiente Call for Papers.
- Sobre los editores de la propuesta:
Cada número tendrá preferentemente dos editores y deberán ser miembros en activo de la UPV/EHU. Pertenecerán a áreas de conocimiento, de investigación y/o centros universitarios diferentes, con la finalidad de favorecer la transversalidad.
Los editores deberán tener un destacado reconocimiento y experiencia investigadora en sus disciplinas respectivas. A modo indicativo, se requiere el reconocimiento de los méritos de, al menos, un tramo de evaluación de la actividad investigadora de la Comisión Nacional Evaluadora de la Actividad Investigadora o méritos de investigación equivalentes.
Una vez aceptada la propuesta, los editores deberán seguir las indicaciones para la edición del número fijadas por el Consejo Editorial, así como las normas de estilo de la colección.
